Hey. I'm André — a software engineer from Brazil with about 10 years of experience building backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Most recently I spent two years at nOps, a FinOps SaaS platform, where I helped expand the product from AWS-only to multi-cloud, built Kubernetes container cost insights, shipped a bunch of SaaS integrations (Datadog, Snowflake, MongoDB, OpenAI, and others), and generally spent my days deep in Databricks, Helm charts, and Kubernetes.

Before that I was a backend contractor at Eleven Software for almost 8 years — Flask, AWS, the usual. I studied Computer Science at UFCG (Federal University of Campina Grande), where I also did research on auto-scaling strategies in cloud environments.

Right now I'm on a sabbatical. After two intense years, I'm taking time to rest, build healthy habits, and play with technologies I never had time to explore properly.

I live in Brazil with my wife and our five cats. The cats are the real reason most of my side projects never ship.

This site is my digital garden. A place to write about experiments, document failures, and occasionally share something useful. If you want to get in touch, find me on GitHub or LinkedIn.
